NeuroRestorative provide post-acute and rehabilitation services to children with brain and spinal cord injuries, medically complex illnesses and injuries and other care needs overcome the challenges they face so they can live full, joyful lives. When you’re also dealing with a life-changing injury, illness, or other challenges, you need a little extra support to grow and thrive. NeuroRestorative helps infants, children, and adolescents up to age 20 heal, regardless of the challenges they face.

Notes and Tips:
Children usually require at least 2 skilled nursing services to meet admission requirements. Ventilator dependence counts as 2 needs. • Respiratory services for oxygen and/or airway management; • Dependence on Total Parenteral Nutrition (TPN) or other Intravenous (IV) nutritional support; • IV therapy; • Peritoneal dialysis – Service not provided at NeuroRestorative 4 Kids; • Tube utilization (NG, or gastrostomy; Foley, intermittent catherization; PEG, rectal tube); • Complex wound care (including stage III or IV decubitus wound or recent surgical or other recent wound) requiring extensive dressing or packing; • Seizure precautions; • Moderate behavior issues (including self-abuse) – describe the problem; • Central or Peripherally Inserted Central Catheter (PICC) line management; • Maximum assist required (quadriplegia or Hoyer lift); • CPS/DCFS custody • Other special treatment(s) not listed above. The provider must describe in detail.
